»Blind Melon

December 28, 2014 8:00 PM

Most people probably know of the alternative rock band Blind Melon because the group had a wildly successful 1993 single titled "No Rain," that had a eye catching music video that featured a cute, but pudgy, girl in a bee costume dancing her way though the plights of life. When lead singer Shannon Hoon died of a heart attack, due to a cocaine overdose, in 1995, the band's future was uncertain and although the group tried to carry on with another vocalist, the results were lackluster and Blind Mellon decided to call it quits in 1999. However, in 2006, when all the members of the group decided to reconfigure, the band was relaunched.
