Raymond Floyd's finest golf course to date is located 30 minutes north of downtown Nashville. Open to the public, Legacy Golf Course showcases the beauty of the Tennessee hillside. Tight lies and fast greens offer a real challenge to both novices and experienced players. The 18 hole course also includes a separate putting green, pro shop and driving range. Shuckle's Corn Maze offers guests a safe and entertaining outdoor activity filled with all the fun of a farm on a beautiful fall day. Open from the 28th of September to the 4th of November on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, it is a great place for families to explore together. Group reservations are accepted from Tuesdays to Fridays. In addition to the seven acre (2.83 hectares) corn maze, Shuckle's also has pony rides, hay rides, face painting, farm games and play areas for the little ones. After dark, Shuckle's is great for older kids, groups and couples as the corn maze goes completely dark and guests must bring flashlights in order to navigate the maze.
This par 70 public course, located 20 minutes north of Nashville, called Country Hills Golf Course is well maintained. Whether you are a novice or an experienced golfer, you will find the tight fairways a real challenge. The pro shop offers a full line of clubs, clothing and accessories. The 18 hole course is also available for private parties, corporate events and tournaments.

The Riverside Golf Course, located in Old Hickory, Tennessee, is the perfect place for those beginning to golf or those who enjoy a leisurely course. Open to the public, the Riverside Center includes a nine-hole executive course which is ideal for new players, but is also useful for experienced golfers wishing to work on their game. In addition to the executive course, Riverside offers the Farm Lakes regulation course which is a par 70 course with nine holes including water challenges. The Cedar Creek Sports Center is open year round and includes both indoor and outdoor recreational activities. For example, visitors can enjoy the indoor arcade games, batting cages, and baseball facilities. Outdoor activities include miniature golf, a driving range, and go-karts. During the summer months, the center also offers visitors a chance to cool off and have fun in a terrific bumper boat pool. Guests may also choose to participate in lessons to help improve their batting, hitting or golf swing. The Putt-Putt Golf, arcade area, go-karts, bumper boats and batting cage can also be rented as part of a party package.
Two Rivers Golf Course is one of Nashville's oldest and features fast greens and open fairways. Popular with novice and experienced golfers, the par 72 course offers a fair amount of challenge. Tee times are available as early as 7am, and while a reservation is not required, it is highly encouraged. Foursomes are also encouraged, and standard course attire of collars, cuffs and soft spikes is requested.
When the mercury rises and the temperature makes you sizzle under the collar, head for Wave Country. It features a number of water slides and a wave machine that creates surf up to four-feet high. There is no better way to cool off on a hot day. The park also has picnic areas and additional recreation space for kids to toss a baseball or Frisbee when the water fun is finished.
