    »Riverside Park

Riverside Park is the headquarters for Milwaukee's Urban Ecology Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the community about the Great Outdoors. The UEC has branches throughout the city and each one aims to provide children with activities that involve nature, from walks in the woods to farming in the city, every activity brings children as well as adults closer to their environment. The park itself has over 15 acres of forest and the east bank of the Milwaukee River runs through it. Additionally, the center has several live animals within its doors and because it is a riparian habitat, its perfect for birdwatching enthusiasts.
