Lee has become an internet sensation with more than 4 million views of his YouTube videos. "The New York Times" praises his "very cerebral comedy," and "The Boston Phoenix" described the show as "what would happen if you crossed your high-school chem teacher with George Carlin."

»Black Moon & Pharoahe Monch

January 30, 2015 7:00 PM

Two important acts in rap history who continue to evolve and produce great music take the stage at the Howard Theatre. Black Moon sprang out of the New York hip-hop scene in the golden era of rap and delivered two of the most indelible songs of the time -- "Who Got the Props?" and "I Gotcha Opin" -- behind the raspy vocals of lead MC Buckshot Shorty. Around the same time, Pharoahe Monch made his name as part of Organized Konfusion before branching out on his own, delivering both politically charged songs like "Clap (One Day)" and party anthems like "Simon Says."

»Greensky Bluegrass

January 30, 2015 8:00 PM

Greensky Bluegrass is a bluegrass band from Kalamazoo, Michigan that was formed in 2000 as a three-piece outfit. While recording its debut album Less Than Supper in 2004, the band decided to fill its soundscape by hiring a bassist and dobro player. After the band acquired these two additional instrumentalists, it managed to anchor its jangly sound and gave its live performances depth. Greensky Bluegrass released the first volume of its live album series, All Access in 2009, followed by Volume 2 in 2010. With its refined sound, the band began to reach out to a broader audience, particularly with its fourth and most acclaimed studio album, Handguns. The effort debuted in 2011 at number three on US Bluegrass charts.

»Fleetwood Mac

January 30, 2015 8:00 PM

Fleetwood Mac has historically been at its best when band tensions are high. The group recorded its most popular album, the 1977 classic Rumours, while the band was going through emotional turmoil, drug addiction and personal tension. After the group reached a breaking point in the late-1980s, many of the band's members left to pursue solo careers. But in 1997 the group reformed and has been busy bringing its brand of folksy classic rock to concert halls around the world ever since.
