Located in the heart of the 14,193 acres High Point State Park, the High Point is a monument that is 220 feet high obelisk monument. This beautiful high peak monument was built in the honor of the war veterans and the windows at the observation sight overlooks the Pocono Mountains, Catskill mountains, and Wallkill river valley. The site from the top gives a great scenic view of the surrounding and is prominent in it's appearance.
Tomahawk Lake is a must-visit for family recreation and entertainment. Spread over 200 acres (80 hectares), this breathtaking landscape features several activities like a 18-hole mini golf course, beer garden, picnic spots and sports fields. The white sand beach and lake offer summer recreation with water slides, boat rides and water coasters making quite a splash. They host live music concerts on weekends.
Tucked away in the woodlands of New Jersey is the house of an eccentric artist called the Luna Parc. The colorful house brims with beautiful mosaic art, while the interiors are adorned with religious idols, taxidermy, stringed instruments, handmade lamps and stained glass. The Henry W. Merriam House was constructed in 1883, and has adapted the Late Victorian style of architecture. Included in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, it was the abode of Henry Wilson Merriam, a prominent industrialist.
