The Syracuse Crunch is a professional ice hockey team based out of Syracuse, New York that competes in the American Hockey League.Founded in 1992, the Crunch has acted as an affiliate for several teams playing in the National Hockey League including the Vancouver Canucks, the Anaheim Ducks and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Having won its first division championship in the 2001-2002 season, the Crunch has proven itself as more than just a team that produces players who go on to havesuccessfulcareers in the bigger leagues.
Johnny A. is a songwriter and guitar virtuoso from Massachusetts who has been honing his craft since he first picked up a guitar at age 12. After fronting a series of bands throughout the late 1970s and 1980s, he began playing as a sideman with artists such as Santana percussionist Mingo Lewis, Doug Clifford of Creedence Clearwater Revival and Bobby Whitlock of Dalaney & Bonnie. Johnny A finally launched his solo career in 1999 when he released his debut album, Sometime Tuesday Morning. Using elements of rock, jazz, blues and soul, he captured a signature sound that would go on to make him a renowned guitarist by the time he released his third album, One November Night, in 2010.
Donny and Marie Osmond are perhaps the best known members of one of America's most popular entertainment families, the Osmonds. Following the Osmond Brothers' path to success as a pop group, Donny Osmond and his lesser known sister Marie would go on to pursue successful solo careers in music and entertainment, only to be reunited as a duo in the late 1970s as hosts of the successful variety show, Donny & Marie.
