Carnac Stones is one of the largest collections of megalithic structures in the world. They date back to 3300 BCE. Legend has it that the stones are the remains of the soldiers who pursued Saint Cornelius who cursed them to stone. While the dolmens are not maintained properly and have made way for roads and other constructions, some of the stones do remain and can easily be spotted in the region.
