Started in 1924 as Aladin Theater, it is an integral part of the artistic and cultural heritage of the Cocoa city. Renamed as the The Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse, it also featured in the National Register of Historic Places. The Porcher House is a historic mansion located in Cocoa, Florida. Built by Edward Porcher in 1916 using Classical Revival style architecture, the house boasts of ten bedrooms. The house is now owned by the City of Cocoa and is open to the public and available for weddings and special events. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Finding a place to park can get rather painful, so its advisable to park at the University and walk the distance to the arena.

The ambiance at the facility is good and although it isn't too large, the atmosphere makes it a very inviting place to watch a play. Plays of various genres like 'The Vagina Monologues', 'Because He Liked to Look At It' and 'V-Day' are some of the famous ones that have been staged here in the past.
