Orlando, FL 32803
Birthed from the Central Florida city of Orlando, the emo band You Blew It! has managed to define itself as a group that's unabashed about blending screamo and pop punk tendencies into an amalgamation that has found a respectably sized listener base in the Florida emo music community. Founded in 2009, You Blew It! slowly built its name up by playing a number of low profile gigs during its formative years as it was still honing its sound and tweaking its live delivery. The group released its debut album, Grow Up, Dude, in 2012 and the LP resonated well with fans of late-1990s influenced pop punk acts like Blink-182 and Green Day.

Here Come The Mummies
The SocialFebruary 27, 2015 6:00 PM
54 North Orange Avenue
Orlando, FL 32801
Funk collective Here Come the Mummies began blending evident instrumental skill with a hefty dose of kitsch upon forming in 2000. The 12 band members dress as mummies while performing and keep their identities a secret, sticking to their stage names and back stories as Egyptian mummies unearthed in an underground disco club thousands of years after their burial. There are rumors that the band members keep their identities secret because they are signed exclusively with various record labels for other projects, and this is a believable story, as the the band possesses a good deal of talent. The Nashville-based group performs across the country with a tongue-in-cheek sense of humor and entertaining live show.

54 North Orange Avenue
Orlando, FL 32801
Born Damon G. Riddick, the Los Angeles-based producer and DJ donned the pseudonym Dam-Funk in 2007. Heavily rooted in early 1980s styles of music, including electro-funk and boogie, his work as Dam-Funk showcased a modern take on these genres and helped foster a revival in their interest. After becoming friends with fellow LA producer Peanut Butter Wolf, Dam-Funk signed to his Stones Throw label and began releasing material. Since then, Dam-Funk has built up a fan base both for his original work and remixes.
