Introduced to the world by author Barbara Park, Junie B. Jones is the title character of the beloved children's book series and theatrical adaptations of the same name. Since the first installment was published in 1992, Park has written over two dozen more Junie B. Jones books, many of which have been adapted into musical theater productions such as Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business, Junie B. Jones Top-Secret Personal Beeswax and Junie B. Jones: Jingle Bells, Batman Smells. The stories follow Junie B. Jones and her friends on their adventures through the first grade.
Slow down the hectic holiday pace with a relaxing, peaceful walk through this light spectacular. This annual display and light show at the Phoenix Zoo attracts thousands of visitors every year. Trees, walkways and exhibits are decked out in animal-themed lights. Another popular part of the festivities is the Music in Motion show, a dazzling light show set to music like no other in valley! Music in Motion can be viewed from several locations around the lake.The regular animal exhibits are not available during the walk. Bring the whole family, as all ages will enjoy this "enlightened" event. Open nightly, the exhibit runs from the end of November through January, with dates varying season to season.
This lovely holiday festival lights around 8,000 luminarias each night, creating a beautiful glow around the garden. So, grab some cider and enjoy a gorgeous walk with your loved ones. In addition to the weekends, the venue is open from the 21st of December to the 23rd of December and from the 28th of December to the 30th of December.
