    »Lamberts of Taos

Imagine as if each individual serving plate were a canvas, and you can pretty much get an understanding of what to expect when your meal is served. Every dish is a work of art in presentation. And, the taste is just as good, too. The regular menu serves such favorites as Stewed Lamb and Grilled Artichoke and Asparagus over a bed of linguini. Rotating nightly specials are numerous and include eclectic dishes such as baked lobster stuffed with shrimp. California vintages dominate the wine menu, with a special lean towards Zinfandels.

    »La Luna Ristorante

This is one of those rare restaurants that can drench both meat lovers and vegetarians with taste-bud happiness. The New York Strip can rival most Texas steakhouses for taste and tenderness. Daily fish specials and various other seafood dishes such as the Shrimp Scampi will make most forget, for a moment at least, that Taos is more than 2,000 miles from the nearest ocean. Wood-burning ovens add pizazz to its pizzas, and there is even a Vegan pie that includes tofu and red onions. The earth-tone colored walls and high-back wooden chairs create a fine balanced feel that is both casual and elegant.
