Boothe Memorial Park and Museum

Built in the year 1840 and remodeled in the year 1914, it is said to be possibly the Oldest Homestead in America, since it sits on the foundations of a house built in the year 1663 and has been continuously occupied since then. The Boothe brothers created a collection of historical buildings which was purchased by the State of Stratford in the year 1949 and since been operated by them. The park includes a carriage house, Americana Museum, miniature lighthouse, windmill, a clock tower, chapel, and a blacksmith shop, among others.
