This restaurant is a little bit tucked away in a mostly residential neighborhood. The fairly large restaurant and its sprawling patio have a great canal-side view and location, perfect for relaxing outside on a nice day. The restaurant serves up authentic traditional Swedish dishes using local ingredients. In addition to the A La Carte menu they also offer a variety of different special event menus and prix fixe menus. Summertime brunch on the patio is an extra special treat.
Up on the hill at Danvikstull, Södermalm, this lovely open-air restaurant is quite a hit with the locals. Coffee, small dishes, beer and wine are served here at Fåfängan.
