Known by the name of Ingstadkleiven Fort in the bygone era, Hegra Fortress was constructed as a boundary defense between the years 1908 and 1910. The fortress was built as a military stronghold to thwart Swedish forces from invading the territory. The rampart was turned into a key military base between the years 1910 and 1926. Post World War II, the fortress came under Norwegian reign. Today, it houses a museum showcasing exhibitions which portray the structure's eventful history.
The Dokkhuset is a concert venue located in Nedre Elvehavn. It's one of the main places to go if you like chamber music and jazz, but it does not limit itself to those genres - the program also includes pop, world music, experimental music concerts... Olavshallen is one of Norway's finest and largest concert halls. It has two stages, little hall (lille sal) and big hall (store sal) and a bar, which serves beverages before the show begins and during breaks. Olavshallen offers a wide selection of concerts, theater, opera and dance performances. Facilities for the hearing impaired can be lent and used for performances in the big hall. Lerkendal Stadion located in Trondheim is the home ground of Rosenberg football club. It has a capacity of 21,620 seats and is believed to be one of Europe's most hi-tech stadiums. The spectator stands have varying sitting arrangements and the stadium itself houses a hotel, jogging tracks, shops and cafes. Many UEFA matches have been hosted here before and the venue continues to be a hot favorite for the football fans of Trondheim and around.
Trondheim's Masonic Lodge is suitable for congresses, concerts, banquets and theatrical performances. It was inaugurated by King Oscar II in 1902. The Masonic Lodge contains a magnificent hall with beautiful decorations and painted ceilings. The concert hall has a stage of approx. 100 m2 and a capacity of 600 people.
