This is one dinosaur trek you will not soon forget. Here, you will see real dinosaur tracks made in the mud more than 200 million years ago. The tracks were discovered in 2000 by Sheldon Johnson, when he was leveling some land for a commercial development. Since making his finding, the site has stood undeveloped to give visitors a chance to see the real evidence of earth's greatest lizards. There is no fee to see the footprints, and while this is not an activity that will fill up an afternoon, it is something that everyone should experience.
The McQuarrie Memorial Museum of the three Daughters of Utah Pioneers is a storehouse of documents, photographs and other records of the early settlers of Utah. See the website for more information.
Dating back to the mid-17th Century, this historic meeting house of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints is also known as Parowan Tabernacle or the Parowan Old Rock Church. Standing neglected since 1914, the Daughters of Utah Pioneers took over the role as the church’s caretakers in 1920. It was incorporated in the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
