»Observation Point, Zion National Park

Getting to the Observation Point at Zion National Park requires determination and fortitude. The trail is quite steep and can get tiring, the total duration is approximately 5 hours. However, once you get to the look out point, with the natural splendour of the park spread out before you, it'll steal your breath away. After heavy rains, the waterfalls running down the canyon are majestic, and you can look out over Angels Landing from this vantage point as well as enjoying the walk through Echo Canyon. From rock formations, wildlife, eagles soaring above, it's a great way to experience nature. Get there early to watch sunrise break over the steep cliffs and canyons. From April 1st until October 30th a shuttle is available from the Zion Canyon Visitor Center to Weeping Rock. The rest of the year, you can drive to the parking lot and start there.

»East Rim Trail

The East Rim Trail remains as a great landmark of the Zion region. The Zion National Park is bestowed with the East Rim Trail which spans over a total of 4 miles (6.4 kilometers). It was developed further by local rancher John Winder. Commencing at the East Entrance Trailhead, it climbs up to 2150 foot. It is a superb trail for hiking and overnight adventure hikes can also be planned with prior permission. The Ponderosa forest, the Echo Canyon, the Rock Cairn are some of the featured sites on this Trail. Spanning over nearly 6 hours, this 10 mile trail is supposedly the most scenic and spectacular trails of the Zion National Park.

Popularly known as the Riverside Walk, the Gateway to the Narrow Trail is a mile long trail that features some exciting beauties like the visibility of red sandstone that alloys with it's surrounding. This place also consists of a parking area, that links to the Temple of Sinawava with the Narrows. This one mile long trail was listed on the records of National Historic Place in on the 7th day of the 7th month in the year 1987.
