This place has been rocking for the past 15 years and is a Tahoe weekend favorite. Catch up on the latest sporting action on the large screen TVs, play pool, shuffleboard, foosball, video games, jam out on the dance floor or take in the magnicifent lake view on the outside deck. Everyday, the DJs keep the place alive till past midnight with lethal combinations of hip-hop and techno. Theme nights are also organised frequently. This unique eatery is named for Garfield Wood, who made a name for himself in the boating industry during the 1920s-1940s. The mahogany interior is reminiscent of Lake Tahoe's wooden boat era and huge windows offer a marvelous view of the pier and watercraft. The Wild Mushroom Risotto is a popular pick, and the Grilled Ribeye or Filet Mignon will satisfy beef-lovers. The marvelous Sunday Champagne Brunch is a real taste treat. Join the crowd at this entertaining pub and sports bar with a relaxed, slightly upscale atmosphere. Shuffleboard, pool tables and big screen televisions help you unwind after a day at the lake.
