Essex Village Historic District

The Essex Village Historic District is a national historical district that features 150 structures. Featuring the structures from the early 19th century, the buildings are all made up of wood frame, bricks and stone etc. The buildings here limit to a two and a half story structure throughout the district. Some prominent structures among the 150 are the Wright's Inn, Essex Free Library, Hickory Hill, Rosilyn, etc. This district reflects the nineteenth century and the historical structures and hence is a great place to visit.
