    »Red House

The charmingly old (but not ancient) building that houses Red House reeks of coziness almost as soon as you enter. A warmly-lit dining room, deep wooden hues on the floor and shelves stacked with wine and beer occupying pretty much every inch of the wall space make for interesting interiors and gives off strangely relaxing vibe. The green tables with blue-cushioned chairs add a contrasting dash of coolness to the warm hues in the room. The serene outdoor patio sees a perennial bustle, and is an excellent choice in summer months. The restaurant is renowned for it's tapas selection, which though not extensive, is varied when it comes to the flavors and combinations. Apart from this, there is also a selection of salads and entrees. The wine selection is astoundingly large, with close to 700 varieties and 20 available by the glass. Equally spectacular is the choice of beer with 500 on offer and seven on tap. Selections from the entire list are available for purchase. Check website for more.

    »Cowgirls Espresso

This coffee chain developed in Seattle with the idea that baristas wearing less clothing attracts more customers. The story goes that one hot summer day an employee asked to wear a bikini top to work. This proved that sex does sell, and developed into a regular bikini-themed day. Eventually, the baristas were wearing sexy costumes everyday including military and school girl outfits. The kiosks are covered in black and white spots, but they definitely aren't the attention-grabber. The coffee is, well, hot. There are now many Cowgirls locations in the US, Australia, Europe, and Canada.

    »Full Tilt Ice Cream

The folks at Full Tilt Ice Cream craft up some flavors not normally seen in your run-of-the-mill ice cream parlor. In addition to the classics, you'll also see flavors like Mango Chili, Lemon Lavender, Ube, Thai Tea, Salted Licorice and Toasted Coconut. Try Mexican Chocolate with a Tequila Caramel Swirl, or be really adventurous and have the chocolate-covered bacon ice cream. There are also usually a few vegan options as well. Located in the gritty White Center neighborhood, Full Tilt is somewhat of a diamond in the rough, but the delicious ice cream is worth the trek. In addition to ice cream, Full Tilt serves beer and beer floats, and has a wall pinball machines and arcade games. There are other shop branches throughout the Seattle area, but the one in White Center was the original.

    »Loretta's Northwesterner

A bar with plenty of loud background music and a hip crowd, the burgers served here are the true highlight. Delicious might be an understatement for the menu which features mouth-watering options like the deluxe cheese burger, tavern burger, pork tenderloin, steak sandwich and more. The drinks are chilled and together the combination of liquor and food make for a great time. The venue leans towards the dive bar label with dim lighting and a loud crowd, though this very fact adds to the appeal of the place.

    »Super Deli Mart

At first glance, Super Deli Mart in West Seattle appears to be nothing more than your run-of-the-mill convenience store. However, upon closer inspection you'll come to find that it's much, much more. Shelf upon shelf is lined with bottles of premium beer, wine, and champagne. There's also several stocked humidors for cigar lovers, and a full-service deli slinging quality sandwiches. But the best part is undoubtedly the microbrews on tap behind the counter. That's right - you can buy and drink pint (or refill a growler) while browsing the store.
