Dropkick Murphys is a band that formed in Boston, in 1996. The Celtic punk band blends folk and hardcore rock into a unique musical blend. Comprised of Al Barr, Ken Casey, Matt Kelly, James Lynch, Tim Brennan, Jeff DaRosa, Scruffy Wallace, the Dropkick Murphy's released its first album, Do or Die, in 1998 and has managed to become popular amongst fans of Celtic-infused punk music.

Indie folk singer/songwriter Jake Bugg is a UK-based artist who got his break playing a set on the BBC Introducing Stage at the 2011 Glastonbury Festival. Only 17 years old at the time of the performance, he impressed BBC officials and went on to appear on several of the station's play lists. Sounding as if he was born a few decades too late, Bugg creates alternative country/indie folk music with a classic straightforward delivery and a rock and roll sensibility.

Inspired by Balkan folk and Eastern European gypsy tales, Zach Condon, founder and primary songwriter for the Santa Fe, New Mexico-based band Beirut, has been crafting his own characteristic style of indie folk since 2006, with the release of Beruit's debut album, Gulag Orkestar. By blending elements of American mainstream and subtle experimentation with aforementioned European influences, Condon and his bandmates create memorable tunes that have managed to win over throngs of fans and critics alike.
