»Lions Nightclub

Lions Nightclub is not just another nightclub; just like the King of the Jungle, it stands out tall and proud among other popular choices in São Paulo. Its interiors are fit for royalty with ornate lamps and chandeliers hanging from a luxurious olive green ceiling, stuffed animals lining the walls plastered with richly-designed wallpapers, magnificent ochre curtains and a polished red flooring. »Funhouse

This club was once a home, a secondary school and a place where some Korean immigrants used to make confectionery goods clandestinely. The moniker comes from Iggy Pop, he gave the name to emphasize that this was the best place to have fun in the city. Iggy's band even closed the doors to the Funhouse for seven hours to record an album that lasted 36 minutes, and the album was aptly called "Funhouse." Despite this bit of history, the club presents a varied style of rock that refuses generic labels, not just punk or indie.

Hot Hot is the proof of how a depleted and a broken building can be converted into a hub of nightlife. Housed in a discarded structure, the two floored building was revamped and life was blown into it after Hot Hot was opened here. Hot Hot is the definition of what a nightclub should be like. The place hosts some live concerts and DJ events on regular bases apart from the famous in-house DJ who keeps the energy levels high with his rocking dance numbers. The ambiance of the entire place resembles a large post modernist painting with graffiti and colors splashed all over its walls combined with large electro lights.
