The Play Space serves as play center where children can develop their skills in robotics and Lego Mindstorms, which are hardware and software kits to build robots. It conducts regular camps where students are taught programming languages like C and LEGO Mindstorms NXT, and engineering and robotics principles. It also holds competitive leagues that challenge the knowledge and thinking power of contestants. These sessions provide great exposure to technically-oriented children, who will perhaps pursue a career in science, maths or engineering when they grow up.
This bowling center is a great place to have fun, enjoy great food and beverages, or simply kick back and forget about everyday life for awhile while playing a few games of bowling.

Spartan Rec Connect, is one-stop spot for all kinds of recreational and athletic activities. It features an aquatic center, sports club, bowling center, intramural sports, sports club etc; accompanied by a sports club that has mini-gym, fitness room, dance and fitness room, studio, racquetball courts and also locker rooms. All the centers are well equipped and the fitness instructors help and guide throughout the workout. Their Aquatic Center sees swimmers from around the nation.
If you enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, from horseback rides to picnics, then this park is for you. It has been around forever. Up at the end of Alum Rock Avenue, the park is buried in the foothills east of San Jose. On the drive there, you pass some impressive mansions so keep your eyes open. The park features playgrounds and miles of trails. It is a very natural setting in which to enjoy leisure activities. Admission is free.

This urban farm covers an impressive 47 acres (19.02 hectares). It has school tours, orchards, a barnyard, picnic areas and places to fly kites. It is a great place to bring kids, especially if they like animals as there are numerous breeds of rabbits, chickens, geese and ducks for them to befriend. The property was originally given to the city of San Jose with the intent that it be used as an agricultural learning center, and in this respect, it succeeds admirably. Admission is free.
Happy Hollow Park & Zoo is located in East San Jose's Kelley Park, near the Japanese Friendship Garden. Happy Hollow is a perfect place to take the kids for a day out as it includes a zoo with all kinds of animals like jaguars, capybaras and monkeys. Happy Hollow is not just a zoo; it also features a park with rides like a carousel and a roller coaster, a petting zoo, shopping, and play structures. Happy Hollow also has a puppet theater, an animal hospital, and offers classes, programs and summer camps for kids.
This wonderful facility is a great place to take advantage of the generally sunny weather with which San Jose is blessed. Home of the San Jose Earthquakes and San Jose State University's football team, the stadium holds over 30,000 people. Over the years, the facility has hosted many international sporting events and concerts. What began in 1933 as a 4000 seat venue has constantly been upgraded and expanded into a modern venue for enjoying sporting events of all kinds as well as concerts, yet it still retains the charm of days gone by.
