They sell everything Italian, from sausage and meats to all the cheeses (buffalo mozzarrella, provolone, ricotta, mascarpone). They sell some great dried pastas in unusual shapes and canned sauces. For those who make their own sauce, they sell all the necessary ingredients, from canned tomatoes to olive oil and herbs. It also sells toys, books on every topic relevant to children and parenthood, lamps, blankets and comforters. Most of the furniture is hand-painted and the clothing is colorful and adorable. This is a great place to stop for a selection of unique children's items, whether the kids need new clothes or new bedroom decor. The items for sale are whimsical and colorful and are priced reasonably.

Mission Wines sells wine and only wine; they do not stock spirits or beer. It is a great little shop featuring an eclectic mix of wines from around the world. They feature wine tastings and a helpful family staff. They may not be the largest wine seller in town nor do they have many hard-to-find labels, but they have great prices and a comfortable atmosphere, making wine shopping and tasting fun the way it should be. Be prepared to spend some time here browsing and tasting.
Open for business since 1985, this is one of Pasadena's great New Age bookstores. It carries just about everything one would expect to find in a New Age shop but with an emphasis on spirituality, metaphysics, mythology and world religions. In addition to books, the shop carries a wide assortment of tapes, CDs, candles, jewelry and tarot cards to help you explore whatever side of the spirit you're game for.
If you want cobblers, this is the place to get them! It sells delicious, gooey cobblers in all sizes and flavors, including peach, blackberry, apple, prune, boysenberry and cherry. Try an individual cobbler for fun or order a creation that will feed 30 people. Call a day ahead for any cobblers for more than four people. The owners are friendly and really love what they do, and it shows in their products.
