The Woods Valley Ski Area offers challenging trails and three terrain parks for both skiing and snow tubing activities. Since its inception in 1964, it has been adding facilities bit by bit to become one of the best enterprises for skiing in the state. Their amenities include a conveyor lift named as Sun Kid Wonder Carpet, tubing and lighting lanes, excellent lighting facilities for skiing at night, double chairlifts and snowmaking equipment. One can also avail of snowboarding and skiing lessons. The location offers magnificent views of the Delta Reservoir and the Delta Lake State Park, replete with green conifers.
The Edward W. Stanley Recreation Center is an indoor sports venue that is also referred to as the Clinton Arena. It provides for varied events during summer and winter seasons. Here, in winter, you can indulge in skating, Ice Hockey and figure skating, and summer is the time for community markets, fairs and similar activities.
Mount Hope Reservoir started out as the first water source in the city. Not only was this the first ever swimming area in Oneida, but also the place from which water was used for drinking and almost all other needs. The site is now a city park stretching to 65 acres (26.3 hectares) and comprising of various activity facilities like fishing, biking, hiking and skiing.
