One of the premier sporting facilities of the Dartmouth College in Hanover, the Memorial Field is a football stadium and track field. Built in 1893, as the Alumni Oval, the stadium has been an important element in student and community life of Hanover, and was re-named as the 'Memorial Field' in 1923 in honor of the students who fought in World War I.
