Audience participation is not only encouraged at this dueling piano club, it is required! Come listen to two gifted musicians battle for your attention (and your tips) as they play songs you know and love. Request a favorite song or a dedication to someone having a birthday or getting married. The piano-players will take care of the rest. This is a great spot to bring a group. Shows start about an hour and a half to two hours after Savannah Smiles opens.
After a hard day at work, one wants to relax and hang around with friends; if you are looking for such a place, then Congress Street Social Club is the best bet. This social club was formed with an idea to provide patrons with a place where they can simply drink beer and bond with their friends. That's not it, the club also serves excellent short eats and light snacks that perfectly complement the fun mood. Live music concerts, DJ sessions, theme parties and similar other gigs are a regular feature here. Apart from that, you can also hire the space for private events and celebrations. Call for details.
The Rail Pub is your friendly neighborhood pub next door. Tucked away in Savannah's former Red Light district, this watering hole occupies a historic 1870 building that is allegedly haunted. Don't forget to ask your wait staff about the investigated paranormal activity experienced here! This place is popular among locals during Happy Hour and Karaoke nights. Enjoy a chilled pitcher or pint with Slim Jim, Pickled Pigs' Feet and Ghetto Dawg.
Named after their great-grandmother, Molly MacPherson's Scottish Pub & Grill in Savannah was opened in 2005 by Debbie Boulanger and Jennifer Brown to share their Scottish roots and traditions with people. Located in downtown, this pub offers a uniquely Scottish experience in the city, with the food menu, the drinks, and even the attire of the wait staff, all being charmingly Scottish to the tee. So, one who stops by Molly's will usually see a scenario where a male waiter in kilts is serving Single Malts and Corned Beef & Cabbage to customers who are quite engrossed in a live musical performance or two happening on the stage. With theme nights planned every week, including Ladies Night and Open Mic Night, Molly's MacPherson's Scottish Pub & Grill is definitely worth a visit. See the website to know more.
This elegant restaurant is housed in a building that dates to 1790. Formerly a cotton warehouse, as were most of the structures along the river, Chart House is now home to some of the most scenic dining in the city. Take a seat on the deck to observe the river traffic, or retire inside to perhaps the most charming bar on Bay Street. The prime rib and steaks are favorites, and the seafood is extraordinary. For dessert, newcomers must try the signature mud pie. Full bar service and excellent wine list available.
If you came to Savannah looking for seafood, look no further. Fiddler's stands as perhaps River Street's most beloved source of the whole gamut of undersea delights. Crab cakes and steamed crab legs, of course, are the house specialty, but the menu also offers live lobster, shrimp and shellfish harvested from regional waters and a nice selection of more land-friendly fare. A respectable and reasonably-priced wine list complements the menu, and a full bar service is available in both the lounge area and restaurant proper.
Serving both food and drinks and serving up live traditional and contemporary Irish music nightly, Kevin Barry's is a unique favorite of locals and visitors alike. The downstairs area has a large bar. Upstairs, you will find a cigar bar and enclosed balcony that overlooks River Street and the Savannah River—a perfect place to sit and watch the activity on River Street. In addition to a main menu of sandwiches and seafood, Kevin Barry's offers a late night menu for those staying until the wee hours.
This Loco's location is perhaps the loudest, being a small place it can sometimes be annoying. The food is what makes people go back time and again. The ambiance is chilled out and one can find a lot of college crowd hanging out.Of course the USD10 beer bucket is a great way to sit back and relax with friends. A cool and casual place to have fun on a boys night out.
Situated in a renovated building that was once home to the City Hotel, Moon River Brewing Company is a restaurant, bar and Savannah's only microbrewery. A varied menu includes quite a few vegetarian options. Imaginative appetizers such as Oysters with Pecan Pesto and Ginger Cured Salmon with Wasabi are worth a try. Fried sweet potato chips are a house specialty. And of course, your server will insist you try one of Moon River's micro-brewed beers with your meal.
Neon lightings, great music and a happening crowd is what welcomes you at the Jinx. Backing the best music talents of the city, the club is a cavernous establishment that caters to the tastes of all. Probably it is for the same purpose that it dedicates every day of the week to a certain genre. While the decor is minimalistic and upbeat, the bar is well stocked and serves divine drinks. One of the best live music venues in Savannah, the Jinx is where music lovers flock.

This popular neighborhood bar and lounge also entertains guests theme nights and live gigs performed by local artists and bands. Call them to know about the venue and be a part of the celebration.
