The Cann Memorial Botanical Gardens is spread over an area of 10 acres (4 hectares). The gardens are considered to be full of botanically-important plants and herbs. The estate is abundant with loads of seasonal and perennial plants, as well as rare species. There are special workshops and seminars that are held in order to educated people on the better preservation of the environment. The garden to open for public visit all throughout the week. Questions related to gardening and plantation are taken up too. There are national herb festivals organised in the park which are visited by many people from across the nation.
