    Caila Thompson-Hannant is a singer/songwriter and musician from Montreal, Quebec. She started her career as the guitar and synthesizer player of the band Shapes & Sizes. She founded her solo project Mozart's Sister in 2011 and became known by playing at famous festivals such as PopMontreal and SXSW. She wrote her first EP, Dear Fear, in 2011 and the second one, HELLO, in February 2013. She released her first full-length album Being, in August 2014.

    Whirr is a shoegaze band from the San Francisco Bay Area. Created in 2010, the group earned widespread national attention with its 2012 debut album,Pipe Dreams, before breaking into international audiences with the follow-up record, Sway, in 2014. Though the group is often compared to Slowdive or My Bloody Valentine, Whirr offers a punk rock spin on the romantic and distorted sound of the original wave of shoegaze in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
