Q-Lounge could have been passed off as just another nightclub if not for the spacious, dual dance floors, electrifying music and the nightly events. Located in North Pheonix, the club covers a variety of dance music ranging from Latin to hip hop. If you are in a group and looking for edge while partying, then opt for the VIP spaces and bottle service. Order a round of shots and let the music move you; don't forget to call ahead and reserve your spot.
This place features thirty-one regulation-sized tables and a few coin-operated. Other amusements include a huge bar, video games, dartboards and shuffleboard. Fifteen televisions glare down from the walls, with two big screen sets in the dining area. Pub food is available, mostly hamburgers and sandwiches. Thursday night is skirts night; anyone wearing a skirt shoots free pool all night.

While the place has a Western feel about it, the Karaoke singers belt out tunes varying from Neil Diamond to Ozzy Osbourne three nights a week. This busy little cafe-style sports grill offers a hometown ambiance. Featuring 10 pool tables and a full bar, this dimly lit cafe's walls are lined with booths. Come as you are; you'll find this a casual spot for a bite of lunch with gracious service. Choose from the award-winning chicken wings (from mild to homicide-hot, served by the dozen with ranch dressing and celery). Other selections from the menu include hot sandwiches, fries and salads. Its delivery radius runs from Cactus to Northern, north and south, and Seventh avenue to Interstate-17 on the east and west borders. Note that this business does not accept checks.
This watering hole on North 35th Avenue is the local sports/dive/Irish bar. Open throughout the day, come to O'Brien's to cure your hangover or get one. Complete with pools, darts, video games and TVs, you will always have something to do apart from enjoying the pints and grub. The atmosphere is friendly and warm.
A regular dive bar the place is equipped with two pool tables and a jukebox that plays punk rock. Local and touring bands come to play mostly punk music. The drinks come in plastic cups but they are really cheap and served by the tattooed bartenders! The crowd is not very upmarket for that same reason (don't come here expecting wine and caviar).
Timo on Central is a charming wine bar and wood oven restaurant serving small plates and, of course, fine wines. Westwood Tap and Grill is the epitome of neighborhood bars, with pool tables, dartboards and bartenders who know all the customers by name. The menu includes breakfast and burgers. Choose from the interesting selection of lesser-known beers or order one of the familiar giants. There are a few tables about, but mostly everyone crowds the bar. Occasionally, the weeknights feature karaoke.
Twist the night away at this rocking 50s dance club. The DJ spins a mean mix of music from the 50s through the 70s interspersed with Karaoke. Great drink specials are offered every night, and dance contests every weekend award prizes for best Jitterbug, Twist, Limbo and Dirty Dancing. Monday nights are reserved for football with a free food buffet. Pictures of James Dean and Marilyn Monroe hang between shots of beautiful vintage cars. The DJ spins his tunes from the back of a pink Cadillac parked on the dance floor. Located within a strip mall, the lounge may come across as just another hookah smoking joint at first. However, it's list of more than 100 blended flavors will definitely take anyone by surprise and make them come back each time to try out different flavors. One can start off with the local favorite - Captain America, which is a blend of blueberry mint, White Peach tobacco and Strawberry, and enjoy the vivacious club dance music churned out by the resident DJ. Open till 2a everyday, the Casablanca Hookah Lounge is a favorite haunt for the students and the young crowd.
