The Crescent Moon theater is home to film classics, a showcase for local talent and the site of performances by some of the top performers in the region.
The Old Barn Theater was once used to stable famous horses for Hollywood legends. The barn has been converted into a rustic western theater to show some of the great films made in the area.
'Grand Canyon, the Hidden Secrets' was created by Academy Award winner Keith Merrill, and the music was composed by Emmy and Oscar winner Bill Conti. A tourist information center, food court and gift shop are on the premises of the Grand Canyon IMAX Theatre where this movie is screened. The film shows daily every hour on the half hour.
The Shrine of the Ages is a multi-functional venue located near the heart of Grand Canyon Village, inside the Grand Canyon National Park. Used primarily for park-related events, this venue is where usually park rangers hold presentations or programs giving visitors a glimpse into the park's diverse natural resources. Also, this venue plays host to various regional events, like the Grand Canyon Music Fest, the Chamber Music Festival, and much more. The Shrine of Ages can also be rented for private events, albeit requiring a Special Use Permit. Call for further information.
