Schmoe's is a fun, friendly, neighborhood watering hole with many delicious bites on offer. Located on Chestnut Street the eatery is quite famous for its burgers and sandwiches. The interiors aren't much, nothing to write home about, but they're clean and slightly dated - giving a nice nostalgic character to the place. The waitstaff is friendly and quite efficient. To nosh, if you're not in a sandwich/salad place, order one of the specials, they're generally nice. Good food at a good price and good service is what sets Schmoe's apart, definitely worth a dine.
Double J's on Essington Road, is always a good idea. The popular sports bar features several beers, spirits and wines - in fact, if you have a special concoction, the bartender shall be happy to make it for you. A word of caution; the Double J's tends to get a little crowded on game nights, and for a good reason too!
