The Bright Light Social Hour
The SocialApril 03, 2015 8:00 PM
54 North Orange Avenue
Orlando, FL 32801
Hailing from Austin, Texas, the Bright Light Social Hour is a band that creates unique and fairly joyous music. After meeting at university, the four members of the band came together with a common love for creating rock music which draws comparisons to several groups from the musical glory days of yesteryear (read: the 60s). Melding psychedelia with funk and soul, the Bright Light Social Hour's concert experiences are exciting and one-of-a-kind because the group tends to incorporate some improvisitional playing whilst on stage. The band released its self-titled debut album in 2011.

Kappa Sigma's Key West Fest
University of Central FloridaApril 03, 2015 7:00 PM
4000 Central Florida Boulevard
Orlando, FL 32816
What is Key West Fest? Key West Fest is Kappa Sigmas annual spring philanthropy event, raising money for the Military Heroes Campaign. Since 2007, the Military Heroes Campaign has donated over $500,000 to non-profit organizations on behalf of servicemen and women and those wounded in combat. We fill our parking lot with 200 tons of sand, effectively turning it into a beach, giving an authentic Key West feel while making the event highly unique in nature. Key West Fest is split into two parts; the day event, where sororities compete in a series of challenges and tasks in order to be earn the honor of the Queens of Key West, and then the night concert, where we hire a well-known DJ to perform a set for everyone to enjoy. Each section of the event is two hours long, with the sorority competition running from 3pm-5pm, and then a two hour gap before the night concert which runs from 7pm-9pm. Key West Fest is one of the most anticipated philanthropy events of the year, and so building on last years success, we now aim to make it even bigger and better while raising even more money for the Military Heroes campaign. 2014 Key West Fest Aftermovie
