Swedish duo First Aid Kit is comprised of teenage sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg who first gained fame when their cover of a Fleet Foxes song was popularized on YouTube in 2008. Creating quiet indie folk with pretty harmonies and touches of country and jangly pop, the duo grabbed the attention of Swedish band The Knife, who signed the sisters to its label Rabid Records. First Aid Kit then embarked on a world tour and has since expanded its fan base significantly.
