For over 40 years, Road Atlanta has been North Georgia's premier destination for sports car and motorcycle racing. The 12-turn race track winds through and over the Georgia hills. Legends like Mario Andretti and even Hollywood star Paul Newman have raced at Road Atlanta, and the track has appeared in movies. A playground for the kids is located in a picnic area, and there are plenty of VIP ticket options during races. In addition to spectator events throughout the year, Road Atlanta staff will also give tours on non-race days. The Pro Shop adjacent to the office has everything from souvenir tee-shirts and model cars to racing equipment.

Established in 1982, the Lanier National Speedway has been host to prestigious racing and motorsport events for NASCAR. Originally established as a dirt track in 1982, the circuit moved to an asphalt surface in 1987, thus opening up to a wide array of competitions.
