Mirador del Obispado

Located on Cerro del Obispado, the Mirador del Obispado is a scenic area which features the biggest flag monument in Mexico. The mighty monument was inaugurated in 2005, on the occasion of Mexican Flag Day. The scenic lookout is 775 meters (2542.65 feet) above sea level and offers a terrific view of the area below. The monument and lookout combined together, make for a great tourist spot. This beautiful panoramic place attracts a lot of locals and tourists alike. Some major events like Army Day, Independence Day and Flag Day are celebrated here with great pomp. Cultural performances and fireworks galore during these days.
