If/Then is a musical theater production that follows the story of Elizabeth, a 40-year divorcée who moves to New York City looking for a fresh start. Upon her arrival, she meets two old friends by the names of Kate and Lucas to discuss her plan of action. While Kate suggest that she adopt the name Liz and look for new experiences, Lucas suggests she focus on her professional career under her college nickname, Beth. From here, If/Then depicts the stories of both of Elizabeth's personas, unfolding the different yet parallel paths that Liz and Beth choose to take.
