    »Bumstead's Pub

    Located next to the popular Dagwood's Deli in the heart of Myrtle Beach, this Euro-American Pub offers appetizers like chicken wings and nachos alongside great tasting salads, sandwiches & burgers. The specialty plates like the Fish & Chips or Italian meatballs are big enough for two. On tap, most of the beers are domestic craft beers, but guests will still find plenty of European bottles. Overall, it's a nice place to relax after work and there is a late night happy hour.

    »Villa Romana

    This restaurant, as its name implies, focuses on fresh, homemade dishes from the 'Eternal City'. The decor inside is also reminiscent of Rome and over the years this award-winning restaurant has garnered a loyal following - many claim it's the best on the Grand Strand. Since all the dishes are made from scratch, the kitchen forces you to relax and wait if you want perfection. On the menu, diners will find many of the familiar classics like chicken Parmesan and spaghetti with meatballs, but of course there are specialties from Lazio as well. Some of them include the Saltimbocca alla Romana and the Lasagna di Ricotta alla Romana.

    »El Cerro Grande

    El Cerro Grande is the best Mexican restaurant in the Myrtle Beach area, winner of the "Mexican Restaurant of the Year" award from the Myrtle Beach Herald. The menu offers standard Mexican fare, such as burritos, fajitas, frijoles, quesadillas and chimichangas. Served hot, the food is always fresh and the cheese is used sparingly and doesn't smother the dish. The salsa is a specialty, it's both chunky and flavorful. El Cerro Grande is a fairly large restaurant so the wait is never excessive. It's colorful and clean atmosphere is only made better by excellent service. There are three locations on the Grand Strand.

    »Dagwood's Deli & Sports Bar

    Overstuffed sandwiches on fresh hoagies are the specialties here. Some are jumbo with extra goodies, and many have sports-inspired names such as the Lynn Swann Dipper, the Hail Mary Dipper, the Gamecock and the Tiger. Patrons can also enjoy Philly sandwiches, salads, burgers, pastrami and corned beef. The expansive menu will appeal to almost any taste. Visitors are welcome to relax with snacks or a meal and enjoy the sports games that play on the multiple TVs. A second location is on Highway 17 in Surfside Beach. -Natasha Lawrence

    Bummz Beach Cafe sits right on the edge of the Atlantic and it serves as the perfect spot for a bite to eat or get some rays. Their fish & chips plate is certainly worth trying, but the real appeal has to be the crab cake dinner which is perfect for two. Bummz has a fairly large patio right on Ocean Boulevard that extends to the beach, where it becomes a great spot to relax in one of their Adirondack chairs. On hot summer days, these chairs fill up quickly with sunbathers so get here early!
