The First Christian Church in Murray was constructed in 1904. It is built on a small piece of land that covers roughly 0.3 acres (0.12 hectares). The Sunday School takes place from 9:00a to 10:15a, post which the worship session commences. The Bible study sessions and fellowship meals are great initiatives. The building was constructed in the Late Gothic Revival style of architecture and stands as a fine model for the same.
Fourth Street in Murray, Kentucky boasts of the distinguished First Baptist Church. Constructed in 1931, it occupies nearly 0.8 acres (0.32 hectares) of land. It organizes fellowship suppers, prayer meetings, sanctuary choir rehearsals, and much more engaging proceedings during the week. Sundays see worship services as well as Sunday School and Bible study. Due to its historic value, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as on February 19, 1986.
Established in 1997, Clarks River National Wildlife Refuge has bottomland hardwood forests which are known for its rich ecosystem. An abundant amount of animals call this reserve home, including Cerulean warblers, Northern River Otters, Bobcats, and Cope's Gray Tree Frogs. Visitors can walk along the trails and go fishing after receiving a permit. Hunting is also allowed if you get a permit and it's hunting season.

Located at the Maplewood Cemetery, The Wooldridge Monuments is a beautiful site of all historical structures that replicate the family of Henry G. Wooldridge. Known as one of the few major attractions of the city, one can take a tour to this place as it displays the history of the family. One can get access to these monuments only when one passes through another historical place called the Confederate Memorial Gates in Mayfield.
