Established in 1995, the Lake Eustis Museum of Art is of great significance to Eustis, Florida. It arranges various events and exhibitions of artistic value like artistic meets workshops and programs that interest visitors. It also offers classes for all levels of learning. Mount Dora History Museum was established as the Royellou Museum in 1978. The Old Lake County Courthouse was a historic courthouse. This building now serves as a museum called the Lake County Historical Museum, located on its first floor. The museum offers a great glimpse of the history of Lake County, as well as various entertainment programs. Built in 1922, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Boasting of a great history, the Leesburg Heritage Museum, built in 1922, was previously the base to varied businesses and organizations like the Leesburg Organization of Commerce, the Leesburg Library, several civic clubs and the renowned Leesburg High School Prom. It primarily conceptualizes a narrative of Leesburg, through the range of artifacts and memorabilia on display. A special segment is the one which explains Leesburg’s past in context with the families, churches, social organizations and city government through diverse archives. Managed by Apopka Historical Society, this museum takes visitors through the history of the city. Museum of the Apopkans offers enlightenment on the Acuera people that once lived here, and reflects the changes that the city has undergone over the years. Members of the historical society are present at the museum, they enlighten guests on various exhibits on display. Various meets, parades, music and cultural festivals are regularly organized at the museum; this makes the learning experience more fun.
In the modern age of fast cars and jet planes, the Florida Carriage Museum & Resort takes you back in time. It features a collection of well-preserved carriages from Europe and United States. The Presidents Hall of Fame is a great place to celebrate America’s political history. This former wax museum changed names to emphasize its expanding collection. Exhibitions feature objects and memorabilia from the White House, like china and glassware dating back to the 1960s. Replicas of national landmarks like the Lincoln Memorial and Mount Rushmore are also on display. The best-known exhibition, however, remains the Miniature White House.
