The idea of an Olde Town Morrow was born in 2006 after residents of the city of Morrow insisted on a downtown area. Immediately a plan was put into action by Ernest Duffey along a 17 acre space which identified the old buildings. This pedestrian-designated area was revitalized to resemble an entertainment/cultural district replete with establishments such as ice cream parlors, bars, clubs, shops, boutiques etc. Festivals such as Christmas, Halloween and Easter are celebrated with immense pomp and show, attracting tourists and locals in plenty.
In 2008 Pastor Luke S. Hall received a message from God telling him to form a church and a year later this vision was realized. Pastor Hall along with nine members founded the New Vision Christian Church in 2009. Since then the church has grown to house a large congregation of more than 350 members. The aim of the church is to spread Christian principles to the community and work for its development. Apart from weekly services, sermons and ministries, social outreach is an important part of the New Vision Christian Church.
