Famous for being the War of 1812's only national battlefield site, River Raisin National Battlefield Park is an interesting way to learn about the 'Second War of Independence'. They are equipped with pair/doubles, singles, fours, eight and quads, all kinds of variety of blades for sculling and sweep rowing. They also provide indoor tanks for practice and technique training. Located just south of the state border in Ohio, Toledo Zoo has been a staple for families and young ones who are curious of the animals around the world. Lions, Tigers, Giraffes, Elephants, Gorillas, and more are all represented. The park has recently undergone a "No Smoking" rule, so please leave all your "smokeables" at home.
Located in Canton, this state of the art ice rink and sports training facility is the best of its kind in the area. The facility features two NHL sized rinks, physical therapy and sports training center and a snack bar.
