    Located in downtown Brampton, the Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives was established in 1968. The museum is home to over 12,000 artifacts that reflect the history of Peel. The archives primarily include a collection of government documents and records, where as the art gallery has over 4000 artworks that adorn its walls. Guided and group tours of the facility are available upon request. The facility is also available on rent for private events like weddings, receptions, meetings and luncheons.

    Located in South Etobicoke, this gallery is housed within the Etobicoke Civic Center. After the city was converted into a suburb of Toronto, the city center has become the home of the gallery and other institutions. It promotes local artists, and features exhibits of mixed media. To reach here, take the Burnhamthorpe West exit of Highway 427. When you view the exhibits, you will realize that the road trip was definitely worth it.

    Located in the Italian community Columbus Centre at the corner of Lawrence and Dufferin, the Joseph D. Carrier Art Gallery pays tribute to Italian and the Italian-Canadian art. Showcasing both contemporary and historic forms, the collection occupies three levels of the building's infrastructure. Divided into five separate exhibition areas, the gallery's main focus is Canadian artists of Italian ancestry. However, it also caters to international artists. The center also includes the Ristorante Boccaccio.

    Gallery TPW, owned and managed by the Toronto Photographers Workshop, showcases some of the best photography works in the region. Founded as an answer to the dearth of support for the art of photography in Canada, this association concentrates in giving focus to local photographers.
