"The most comprehensive exhibit of American glass in the world," the Museum of American Glass at WheatonArts & Cultural Center contains over 12,000 pieces that are arranged in chronological order from 1739 to contemporary art glass. Specially designed tours of the collection are available.
Wheaton Arts & Cultural Center, a non-profit organization, celebrates the long history of New Jersey's glass industry. The site features a Museum of American Glass that has over 6500 pieces. The center is also a place for today's glass makers to come practice their technique and use the provided equipment. The center aims to preserve the history of glass-making and further artistic endeavors. They also accommodate private events.
The Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts houses art by such artists as Seppo Siimes, Victoria Papale, Robert Baum, Emily Luertzing, and Pat Moore.
An extensive collection of World War II memorabilia is on display at the Millville Army Airfield Museum. It is open to the public during the week from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This museum houses over twenty thousand artifacts that provide a glimpse into the history and life of the original natives of this area of New Jersey, the Minsi and Unalachtigo Nations and the Lenni-Lenape Tribe.
This unassuming structure was formerly the office of the Cumberland Nail and Iron Works, which was in operation from 1815 through 1899, and now houses exhibits and artifacts that have to do with the historical and cultural legacy of Bridgeton and the surrounding region, as well as examples of early Bridgeton glass, toys, lanterns, the oldest public clock in the region, Nail Works artifacts, and more.
This museum houses memorabilia and exhibits having to do with teams and individuals in all areas of sports who hailed from New Jersey and have contributed to and left their marks upon the world of sports.
