    Macbeth By William Shakespeare
Adams Memorial Opera HouseOctober 31, 2014 7:30 PM
    29 West Broadway
    Derry, NH 03038
"Look like the innocent flower, but be the serpent under't."For centuries, Shakespeare’s play has beguiled, intimidated, and in some cases killed the actors who dared to take it on. What better holiday to tackle this show filled with witches and ghosts than Halloween? What better venue than a 100 year old opera house? What better time than midnight? Shakespeare’s famed “Scottish Play” as interpreted by three actors on Halloween weekend. Something wicked indeed.

    Dusk Rings A Bell
    Merrimack Repertory TheatreOctober 31, 2014 8:00 PM
    50 East Merrimack Street
    Boston, MA 01852
When Molly, a divorced PR exec, returns to her childhood vacation home to retrieve an old memento, she encounters a time capsule of an entirely different sort in "Dusk Rings a Bell". The souvenir in question is actually Ray, an old fling from her adolescent years, now working as a landscaper and caretaker. As they begin to renew their romance, Ray reveals a shocking crime in his past that left him incarcerated for ten years. What follows is a lyrical and poignant tale of the hopefulness of youth contrasted with the painful realities of life. Michael Bloom directs a stunning new production of this melancholic romance from playwright Stephen Belber and Merrimack Repertory Theatre.

    Tommy Castro

    215 Great Road
    Shirley, MA 01464
Widely considered to be one of the best living electric bluesmen, Tommy Castro has earned his well respected reputation over years of romplicking performances, where he honed his stage skill and energetic presence. Getting his start in the San Francisco Bay Area, Castro played a number of dingy small clubs until he was noticed by BB King in 2001, who asked Castro to open up for him on his North American tour.
