Mr. Tony's is a popular steakhouse and bar located in Mazatlan's Zona Dorada. Being a steakhouse, Mr. Tony's is well-known for its grilled meats and hamburgers, but that's not all. Mr. Tony's bar is also a popular nightspot, as it hosts live music acts every night from 8p to 1:30a, and you'll usually spot people dancing along. This fun, lively place is a great option if you're in the mood for a good steak and good times.
The Place, El Paraje is an ever-popular Mexican restaurant that tourists flock to. Its incredibly inexpensive prices and tasty cuisine draw a loyal clientele. Located on the malecon at Avenida del Mar, this is the only Italian Coffee Company in Mazatlan. This chain is popular enough with both locals and tourists that it takes away some business away from Starbucks. Italian Coffee Company has coffee shops all over Mexico. They serve cold and hot espresso drinks, biscotti, sandwiches, croissants and more. Or just come by for a sweet blended treat, topped with whip cream.
Naufrago's is a fun restaurant and bar, located on the Malecon, south of Fiesta Land. This restaurant offers two levels of dining, with outdoor patios on each floor that overlook the water. The menu is seafood-heavy, with some traditional Mexican dishes as well. There is a full bar at Naufrago's and during the week, young people crowd this watering hole.
La Corriente Cevichería Nais is located on the beach and is opposite Hotel de Cima. It features a dining area, a bar and beach club in different areas though all are very near to each other. This open-air establishment opened in 2011 and is a popular seafood haunt, though it can be easily missed if you aren't looking out for it. Its thatched roof ceiling with quaint light fixtures and beautiful views of the ocean, gives it a unique ambiance. Savor the fresh seafood which have a distinct flavor of the sea. Meat dishes are included in the menu. Sip on their house specialty Mezcalitas or any other drink. Enjoy the DJ beats and live music with the sound of the waves joining in harmony.
