This community theatre troupe presents a variety of theatrical productions as well as an annual children's play in July.

Located in the bustling downtown area, a few blocks from the Southern Illinois University, Hangar 9 is a spacious bar-club-music-venue that features bands and musicians from all over the country. You can either choose to catch the show by dancing away to the tunes on the main level, or head upstairs for a better view of the stage. Over 25 breeds of cat will be judged during this two day, six-ring July cat show including specialty breeds and a household pet class.
Previously known as the McAndrew Stadium, Saluki Stadium is a state-of-the-art football stadium and a home ground for the Saluki Football team for more than 70 years. The original stadium was constructed in the year 1938 and was considered to be the most attractive stadium in town. The re-construction of the stadium in the year 2010 has increased the seating capacity of the stadium upto 15,000, and is equipped with a press box and team locker and changing rooms.
Located at the School of Music at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, the OBF Recital Hall is where the students perform, practice and show off their musical talent honed by the SIUC School of Music. The hall is used to put up student driven concerts, recitals and convocations as well as stage visiting artists and musicians. Do contact the school for more details.
