In "A Moon For The Misbegotten", the final play by the Nobel Prize-winning author Eugene O'Neill, two troubled and lonely souls find each other, creating a love that yields touching and tragic results. Set on a tenant farm in Connecticut, the play finds alcoholic failed actor James Tyrone, Jr. -- first introduced in O'Neill's autobiographical play "Long Day's Journey Into Night" -- striking up a romance with Josie Hogan, a tough, equally damaged Irish immigrant. Together, they spend a brief night of happiness in the moonlight. Broadway veteran Steve Pickering stars as James in this SCU production staged at Mayer Theatre.
