What would you pay for a white painting? An all-white painting? Alternately hilarious and poignant, "Art" tells the story of three men whose years-long friendship is put to the test when one buys a trendy artist's completely white painting at an outrageous price. Lines are drawn, sides are taken and the bonds that tie each man to the others are stretched to the breaking point. Can their friendship survive their bitterly opposed views on art? Written by "God of Carnage" playwright Yasmina Reza, "Art" racked up numerous international awards during its initial run, including the 1998 Tony Award for Best Play.
