Bars & Cafes
This eatery serves some of the most innovative and fresh pizzas in town. Blue Moon Pizza oozes vibrancy and makes a blatant claim of wanting to remain an illogical pizza joint. Go for the hand-tossed variety or the thin crust ones, they are all good, complete with large portions of fresh and generous toppings. The Greek Pizza is quite a crowd-puller here and so are the house made desserts. The blue walls and serene blue lights infuse an enchanting glow. All of this with an open patio, an upbeat bar(with a good stock of martinis) and televised sports. Pizza joints just got better!
Frantic and fun, this sprawling Cobb County restaurant brings the best of bayou excitement and food to Atlanta. Families and business groups alike flock to the big, shanty-themed dining room, and the noise level is usually through the roof, even next to the serene bubbling waterfall. Low country regional specials headline the menu, including jambalaya and a very spicy Cajun crawfish platter. A lively bar and expansive patio make the place very popular with the after-work crowd, as well.
The laid-back attitude at El Ranchero creates a great atmosphere for fine, affordable dining. You'll feel as though you've stepped into an old desert cantina, whether nestled in a booth in the back room, or front and center at a table near the door. Enjoy the dim, cool environment with a margarita from the bar while you wait for your order. With most entrees being easy to the pocket, you can afford to treat the crowd once in a while. Great frijoles and fajitas headline a menu of authentic Mexican winners.
A lively atmosphere pervades this enormous Marietta hotspot, from the margarita drinkers on the patio to the festive diners being serenaded by a four-piece Mariachi band inside. The house specialty is the steak and chicken fajita plate; you can either order for one, or else get it by the pound for sharing. Dozens of combination platters offer most traditional Mexican fare in invariably enormous portions. Try the fried ice cream to top off your meal, but be warned, it is big enough to share.
The 120 Tavern and Music Hall is a great place for the young at heart, offering good food, an outdoor tiki bar with music hall attached for concerts and live entertainment.
