Unique plants, birds and other wildlife reside in a series of salt and freshwater lakes in the Rockingham Lakes Regional Park. Lake Richmond, the most popular, offers a wonderful walk that follows the shoreline. A striking feature along the way is the unusual prehistoric domed thrombolites. The Naragebup Environment Centre is worth a visit. It boasts an array of useful information and some interesting exhibits. Other sites to visit include Lakes Cooloongup and Walungup plus the Ansley and Paganoni Swamps.
